What Routine Maintenance Includes
Routine maintenance typically begins with an inspection of your heating or cooling system. Then we tune the equipment, extending its lifespan and maximizing efficiency. At the end of a maintenance session, we’ll explain exactly what we did.
Seasonal HVAC Tune-Ups
We can perform fall and spring tune-ups to keep your HVAC system running at peak performance. Fall tune-ups focus on heating equipment, including heat pumps, so we can keep it running. During this process, we change the filter, clean the coils, and perform other maintenance tasks. At the end of a heating tune-up, we’ll test your equipment and make sure it’s running as expected.
Spring tune-ups focus on cooling equipment. Air conditioners and ductless mini-splits have coils, filters, and other parts that need to be replaced or adjusted regularly. Our comprehensive AC tune-up includes everything needed to keep your AC running efficiently.
For example, we’ll clean the condenser and evaporator coils. We’ll also clear the drain lines and tighten the electrical connections. Our technicians follow each manufacturer’s specifications to ensure your satisfaction.
Maintenance Plans and Programs
Farnen & Dermer also offers an Energy Saving Maintenance Agreement for your convenience. This plan gives you access to one heating tune-up and one cooling tune-up annually. Plan members are also entitled to priority service. Enrolling in our ESMA can help you maintain your comfort even as exterior conditions change.
